Working flexibly from home has some amazing benefits, but the one thing that I will be miss this year is the Office Christmas Party.
Whilst I won’t miss trudging out in my party best, in the cold and rain like previous years, will things really feel festive if I don’t don a Santa hat and buy secret Santa in 2015?
A conversation with another home working friend of mine made we wonder, how many of us are in the same boat? Whilst I am going to enjoy my planned Festive Feasts with Friends, nothing quite beats a work Christmas party.
So, I’ve created my own. Totally rocking the international element of my connections (and so parents don’t need to grab a babysitter), I’m making a virtual, online party!
Join the event and invite your friends. 21st December 2015 from 7:30 pm; come along to The Balance Collective Facebook page and have some fun!
Essential:
1. Christmas wear – ideally ugly Christmas jumpers, but I’ll take anything tinselly!
2. A sense of humour
3. A glass of something bubbly
4. Audio Visual – there will definitely be music and I may even record a video or two
So, if you are in, don’t forget to leave your musical requests on the wall of the event!
