“You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously.” Sophia Bush
It may be the 1st of April, but I’m not bringing you any fools! Just my monthly update on what is planned, and a hope that you will join me!
“Easter” Break
I am working, very lightly, over the Easter break; at the point of reading this, there may be a few coaching/ insight calls left. I will be checking emails (apart from the long weekend; I’ll be working my way through hot cross buns and my favourite chocolate!) and back at my desk proper on the 13th of April. I hope whatever you are up to includes family time and some R&R.
Ask me Anything
This month’s slot is Monday, 20th April at 11:30. A chance for you to “pick my brain” and, well, as the title says, Ask Me Anything! As usual, the answer will be in Creating for Careers to Enjoy, and it will be written up as a blog. You can submit your question through hello@thebalancecollective.co.uk
Personal Development Book: Futureproof by Kevin Roose
“A New York Times bestselling author and tech columnist’s counter-intuitive guide to staying relevant – and employable – in the machine age by becoming irreplaceably human”.
Probably one of the most necessary books in this year’s list! This is one to read if, like me, you aren’t being enthusiastically swept up in the tech “revolution”. I will be sharing my thoughts on Monday, 27th April, in Creating Careers to Enjoy, and sharing as a full article that week too. You can grab a copy here through my affiliate Bookshop link.
April and beyond
My diary is now open and ready for bookings from now until July! So, if you have been thinking about making a change, supporting yourself or your team to return to work, or generally create a career/business to enjoy, you can start now. You can book your insight call, ready for us to talk and create a plan that works for you!
