“June is a time when new possibilities unfold, paving the way for personal growth and achievement.” – Sarah Addison Allen

I’m now back at my desk after a wonderful half term, and ready for what looks like will be a fun-filled June! This includes a birthday celebration for our youngest, amongst other things.

This month’s plans:

Personal Development Book Title in June is “Calmism “

Written by Dr Alexis Willett, this is the “8 habits for complete rest”. If you are coming back after half term or the long weekend want more rest (and who doesn’t) then this is the book for you!  “With just a few minutes’ attention each day, you can cultivate positive, daily habits that stick, to help you feel ultimately revitalised.”

I’ll be sharing my thoughts on 11th June via the blog; I’d love for you to join me. You can find out more here.

You can ask me anything!

The June Q&A session is on 22nd June at 11:30 in Creating Career to Enjoy. You can get a feel for the previous questions here. But there is really no question off limits. Send it over to hello@thebalancecollective.co.uk, and I will answer via video on the 22nd June, with the full article being published on the 25th June.

Catch up with last month’s blogs.

May’s topics have been a smorgasbord of topics, because my coaching covers EVERYTHING to help you create a career to enjoy. Dip back in and see what may be useful for you.

Clara +

Did you know there are other places I hang out when it comes to coaching? I like to call these “Clara plus …” as you get a little bit extra than just me. These are communities that are great for people or organisations looking for more support and information. This month I want to tell you all about Nugget Savings (who currently have a third birthday sale!) . They are on a fabulous mission to support parents and parents with the knowledge, tools and community to nail their finances. I am one of the experts; through their community, you can access Masterclasses and get answers covering Employment Law, Finance, Flexible Working, Entrepreneurship, and more!

Career Wellbeing Workshops

I’m looking forward to returning to The University of Birmingham again for the Parent & Carers Week, to deliver one of the career wellbeing workshops. Last year, we discussed “balancing career and family life” and this year it’s “How to reduce the feeling of overwhelm”.  Whilst you may know me more for my 1:1 Coaching, I also love delivering workshops to teams and groups. If you would like to find out more about my workshops,  then reach out at hello@thebalancecollective.co.uk and let’s get the conversation started!

Finally, let me ask you a question:

When you stop and look around you, are you where you expected to be right now, career-wise?

If you have a career that challenges, inspires, and motivates you (most days) you are well on your way to having a career to enjoy. However, if you feel like you are in Groundhog Day, you may be settling for a career to endure.

If you are wondering what career stagnation feels like, let’s see if you can say YES to any of these:

You may have regular thoughts of quitting.

You haven’t seen much salary progression.

You feel like you are on a hamster wheel.

There is no clear direction on where you are going next.

You haven’t learned anything new in a long time!

Maybe it’s time to do something about it.

My Career Coaching Packages lead you to the next step, based on your values, skills, your wellbeing needs and your life stage.

Guided by a doubly qualified coach with over 20 years of experience in recruitment, skills, and employability, it’s time to take control back.

It’s never too late to create a career to enjoy, not endure.

Reach out at hello@thebalancecollective.co.uk to start the conversation

So, whatever you have planned this month, I hope it’s a good one!

Until next time

Clara
